Gentle Care in a Low Stress Environment
ABOUT THE VETERINARIAN
Dr. St. Lifer grew up with family dogs (show and breeding) which sparked his interest to pursue a degree in Animal Science at Oklahoma State University.
He then looked for international adventure and attended Veterinary School in Munich, Germany where he lived for 8 years. After graduation in 1990, he returned home and spent one year at Tufts Veterinary School to become licensed in the United States. He then lived for 15 years in Pennsylvania where he worked with companion and farm animals before moving back to New England.
During his years in practice he noticed a need to go beyond conventional therapies and started drawing on his exposure to ideas he had absorbed while living abroad.
He became certified in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM), attended homeopathic courses, studied glandular therapies and discovered his talent for kinesiological testing.
Since 2005 he actively began integrating alternative therapies into patient care.
He is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (ahvma.org), AVMA and NHVMA.
